We’re delighted to welcome a precious addition to the Cantley Grange family: Lady, an 11-week-old Dachshund belonging to our dedicated Care Assistant, Nicole. Already capturing the hearts of our residents in Doncaster, Lady is thrilled to be part of the team and basks in the attention she receives from everyone.
Despite her tender age, Lady is remarkably well-behaved and has already mastered the art of being house-trained. While she enjoys her puppy naps, she eagerly embraces her role in bringing joy to our residents’ lives.
One of the many benefits of having Lady around is her ability to evoke fond memories among our residents. Pets have a remarkable way of triggering happy recollections of past pets or cherished moments with loved ones, serving as a positive catalyst for unlocking precious memories.
Beyond companionship, pets like Lady can also play a pivotal role in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety and depression. Witnessing the transformative effect of a pet’s presence, from inducing smiles to easing emotional burdens, is truly remarkable and underscores the invaluable bond between humans and animals.
Nicole is keen to further cultivate this special bond between Lady and the residents of Cantley Grange, recognizing the immense potential for enhancing well-being and fostering a sense of connection and comfort.
On behalf of all of us at Rosedale Care, we extend a warm welcome to Lady as she officially joins our team. With her wagging tail and boundless affection, we know she will continue to bring warmth, companionship, and countless moments of happiness to our residents’ lives. Welcome to the team, Lady. we are looking forward to your many pet therapy stories! 🐾
